The online version of the student text delivers a host of interactive features to enhance the teaching and learning experience, and when connected to a class teacher account offers a powerful Learning Management System.

• Videos include animations of physiological processes, and expansion o f case study materials. QR codes in the print textbook provide immediate access to selected videos.
• Animated Powerpoint demonstrations show physiological processes.
• Roll-over definitions are available for key terms.
• Auto-marked quizzes for each chapter include multiple-choice and drag-and-drop activities and give students immediate feedback on their progress.
• Workspaces allow students to enter their answers directly into the Interactive Textbook for the review questions at the end of every section, and all ‘Revise and summarise” activities.
