Fountas & Pinnell Leveled Literacy Intervention (LLI) is a powerful early intervention system that can change the path of a student’s journey to literacy. The LLI Orange System is specifically targeted at Foundation students. The LLI Orange Booster Pack is provided to extend reading competence in Foundation students. This booster pack will enable schools currently using the LLI Orange System to reach the revised recommended year-level goals found on the F&P Text Level Gradient.

The LLI Orange Booster Pack includes 40 new, engaging books including 10 instructional Level D books with 10 supporting independent Level B books and 10 Level E books with 10 supporting Level C books. 4 copies are included of each of the 40 new books, plus 6 black and white copies of each book are also included so students can practice new reading at home with these take-home readers. 40 new lessons are laid out in the Lesson Guide, plus educators will receive 40 plastic lesson folders.

 


The Fountas & Pinnell Leveled Literacy Intervention System (LLI) is an intensive, small-group, supplementary literacy intervention for students who find reading and writing difficult. The goal of LLI is to lift the literacy achievement of students who are not achieving grade-level expectations in reading. The LLI systems are designed to:

Advance the literacy learning of students not meeting grade-level expectations in reading
Deepen and expand comprehension with close reading
Elevate the expertise of teachers
Increase reading volume by engaging students in large amounts of successful daily reading
Increase student engagement with books that build knowledge
Intervene with small groups of struggling readers to maximise growth
Meet the needs of struggling readers
Monitor student progress.
